In addition to our current projects, Clancy Learning has additional projects we intend to take on when time and resources permit:

People Acumen

So many areas of human performance – including sales, leadership, teamwork, marriage, parenting, politics and conflict resolution – rely entirely on our ability to interact and build relationships with people. While we have so much research in this area, so little of it has been formulated or made available in ways that we can apply in our lives. The People Acumen project will compile the current knowledge and further explore ways to strengthen our abilities to work with people.

Risk Acumen

Risk is an inherent part of every facet of life. It becomes even more prominent as we take on bigger responsibilities, such as leadership and management positions. While there is no way to remove risk, there are certainly ways to deal more effectively with it. The Risk Acumen project will compile the current knowledge and further explore ways to strengthen our abilities to deal with risk.

Optimal Learning

The Optimal Learning project explores learning as a means to optimize human potential. Learning is so much more than simple acquisition of knowledge and skill. It is based on the theory that personal health and mastery (ie, dealing with personal issues) is a key factor in performance and must be addressed for any real learning to take place.

Optimal Life

The Optimal Life project focuses on answering the question, “How do we get the most from our lives?”.  It is a question whose answer is far beyond human comprehension, and at the same time, it is arguably the most important question in our lives.  The significance of our lives depends on how each of us answers it.  Thus, while the ultimate answer might lie beyond our grasp, our Optimal Life project strives to help in the learning process to discover continually better answers.
